GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Communications & Partnerships, the Marketing & Partnerships Coordinator plays a key role in the implementation of the Trois-Rivières Lions’ marketing and commercial initiatives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating various marketing projects, creating and distributing content, and executing corporate partnership activations. They will contribute to delivering a high-quality experience for fans and partners while helping develop new ideas to increase the organization’s visibility, engagement, and revenue.
In a professional sports environment where priorities can change quickly, the successful candidate must be versatile, organized, creative, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The position will involve daily collaboration with the Marketing & Communications, Partnerships, Ticketing, and Operations teams.
This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday position that requires attendance at home games and special team events. Working hours may vary depending on the organization’s activities and event schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing & Content
- Participate in the development and implementation of the organization’s annual marketing plan.
- Coordinate and follow up on promotional, thematic, and advertising campaigns.
- Participate in the creation of content for the organization’s various digital platforms.
- Write, design, and publish content for the organization’s digital platforms.
- Implement campaigns related to ticket sales, season memberships, events, and special initiatives.
- Participate in the creation of photo and video content during games, events, and team activities.
- Edit video content for social media and various communication platforms.
- Participate in the development and implementation of game-day themes and activations.
- Collaborate with the social media team to ensure a consistent and engaging digital presence.
- Coordinate the production of promotional materials, both print and digital.
- Participate in the management and updating of the organization’s website.
- Ensure the timely publication of relevant content, promotions, events, and information.
- Monitor marketing, digital, and sports industry trends to identify and propose new ideas.
- Participate in analyzing the performance of various marketing initiatives and provide recommendations.
- Contribute to the development of initiatives aimed at increasing fan engagement and retention.
Partnerships & Activations
- Coordinate and execute activations related to corporate partnership agreements.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with corporate partners throughout their activations.
- Follow up on deliverables outlined in partnership agreements.
- Coordinate the various stages of activations with partners, internal teams, and suppliers.
- Track timelines, approvals, material requirements, and visibility elements related to partnerships.
- Participate in the creation and implementation of activation concepts for partners.
- Participate in preparing presentations, proposals, and sales tools for current and prospective partners.
- Identify opportunities to develop new activations and commercial properties.
- Participate in meetings with selected partners.
- Handle the administrative follow-up of partnership projects and ensure effective communication between all stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate must:
- Hold a college or university degree in business administration, marketing, communications, project management, or another relevant field.
- Have a minimum of one year of experience in a similar position in marketing, communications, or partnerships.
- Have excellent written and spoken French and English skills.
- Be proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), video editing software (Premiere Pro), and professional photography equipment.
- Have excellent planning and coordination skills.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, autonomy, leadership, and initiative.
- Be creative, entrepreneurial, and possess strong relationship-building and business development skills.
- Be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and perform effectively under pressure.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
