- Lions in the Community
The Trois-Rivières Lions are proud to play an active role in the community. Throughout the year, the organization partners with numerous charities, schools, and causes that contribute to the well-being of the region. Through fundraising initiatives, awareness campaigns, school visits, and community donation programs, the Lions use their platform to give back and strive to make a positive impact that extends far beyond the ice.

Lions School Visit Program
The Lions are committed to making a positive impact on young people by visiting schools throughout the region during the season. This year, the team visited nine schools, reaching more than 300 students. During these visits, players participated in educational activities, sports-related programs, and team-building exercises. A total of 27 different players took part in the initiative throughout the year.

Leucan Charity Partnership for Cancer Awareness
As part of the Together Against Cancer game, the Lions partnered with Leucan to support children battling cancer and their families. Donations were collected at arena entrances, proceeds from the Chuck-a-Puck activity were donated to the organization, and a head-shaving challenge gave a fan the opportunity to donate their hair for the creation of a wig. Through this initiative, a total of $1,300 was raised and donated to Leucan.

Héma-Québec Blood Drive & Plasma Campaign
The Lions partnered with Héma-Québec to promote blood and plasma donation within the community. A blood drive held during the season resulted in 114 donations, which could potentially help save up to 342 lives. A plasma donation awareness campaign was also conducted at a donation centre decorated in Lions colours to encourage community participation.

50/50 Raffle Supporting Youth Sports in Mauricie
At every home game, the Lions hold a 50/50 raffle, with a portion of the proceeds dedicated to supporting youth sports in the Mauricie region. Through this initiative, more than $50,000 was donated this season to organizations whose mission is to increase access to sports and encourage young people to stay active.

Throughout the season, more than 1,000 tickets were donated to sports associations, schools in underserved communities, and organizations supporting newcomers, representing a value of more than $25,000. The team’s annual Teddy Bear Toss is another important part of this commitment.
