Partnership Coordinator
POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development, the Partnership Coordinator plays a key role in managing and executing projects related to the organization’s corporate partners. As the driving force behind sponsorship activations, this person will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and carrying out partnership initiatives while maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders.
In addition to overseeing existing agreements, the coordinator will actively contribute to partnership sales and business development efforts by identifying opportunities, assisting in proposal creation, and supporting the prospecting process.
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, and requires availability for all home games and special team events. Beyond being passionate about hockey, the ideal candidate is dynamic, organized, and motivated to be an integral part of a growing project, embracing the responsibilities that come with working in a small-business environment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Partnerships
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders involved in partnership delivery.
- Manage, coordinate, and execute partner activation projects.
- Update and track all deliverables associated with partnership agreements.
- Oversee the approval process related to the successful execution of partnership projects.
- Monitor budgets and timelines for ongoing projects.
- Assist the Vice President of Business Development in the development of integration and activation concepts for corporate partners.
- Contribute to partnership sales: identify opportunities, assist in proposal creation, and participate in prospecting and business development efforts.
- Perform any other related duties as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- The candidate must have:
- A degree in business administration, sales, or another relevant field.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position (sponsorship, business development, or partnerships).
- Experience in customer service and business relationship management.
- Excellent command of spoken and written French.
- Good spoken and written English skills.
- Strong organizational skills, autonomy, leadership, and initiative.
- Creativity, an entrepreneurial mindset, and strong ability to manage business relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and perform under pressure.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
