The Trois-Rivières Lions, ECHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, have unveiled their theme game schedule for the 2026-27 season. In total, 17 of the club's 36 home games will feature a special theme.

The festivities begin with Opening Night on Friday, October 16 at 7:00 p.m. when the Lions welcome the ECHL's newest franchise, the Trenton Ironhawks, affiliate of the New York Islanders, to officially launch the club's sixth season.

Exciting New Themes

This season's schedule introduces several brand-new concepts. On October 30 at 7:00 p.m., fans will experience the first-ever Rock Night, followed the next afternoon by a Halloween Game on October 31 at 1:00 p.m., giving families plenty of time to head out for trick-or-treating afterward.

Fans can also try their luck at Casino Night on November 20 at 7:00 p.m., before the organization hosts its inaugural Ladies' Night on December 4 at 7:00 p.m. A mystery theme game, set for January 8 at 7:00 p.m., will be revealed at a later date. Finally, on March 6 at 3:00 p.m., the Lions will present Toy Story Day, a family-friendly event sure to entertain fans of all ages.

Fan Favorites Return

Several popular promotions will also return this season. Military Appreciation Night on November 7 at 3:00 p.m. will once again recognize the service and sacrifice of members of the armed forces. On December 5 at 3:00 p.m., Together Against Cancer Night returns to raise awareness for a cause that affects countless families throughout the region.

The holiday season kicks off with the always-popular Holiday Game & Teddy Bear Toss on December 19 at 3:00 p.m., followed by Mascot Birthday Game on December 27 at 3:00 p.m., where Flammèche will celebrate his fifth birthday alongside several mascot friends.

The Force returns to Colisée Vidéotron on January 23 at 3:00 p.m. with the annual Star Wars Game.

The date for Affiliation Night will be announced later and will once again celebrate the partnership between the Lions, the Montreal Canadiens and the Laval Rocket. Country Night on February 26 at 7:00 p.m. and Quebec Night on March 20 at 3:00 p.m. will highlight two beloved traditions.

The regular season wraps up with two fan-favorite events: NASCAR Canada Day on April 3 at 3:00 p.m. and Fan Appreciation Day on April 4 at 1:00 p.m.
