Position Overview

Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development, the Partnership Coordinator plays an essential role in managing and executing projects related to the organization’s corporate partners. As a key driver of sponsorship activation, this individual will play an important role in the planning, coordination, and execution of partnership initiatives while maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders involved. In addition to managing existing agreements, the Coordinator will actively contribute to partnership sales and business development efforts by identifying opportunities, participating in proposal development, and supporting the prospecting process.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, and also requires attendance at all home games and special team events. In addition to being passionate about hockey, having a dynamic personality, and being highly organized, the ideal candidate must be motivated to become an integral part of a growing organization and embrace the responsibilities that come with working in a small business environment.

Key Responsibilities

Partnerships

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and all stakeholders required to deliver partnership agreements
  • Manage, coordinate, and execute partner activation projects
  • Update and track all deliverables related to partnership agreements
  • Manage all approvals required to ensure the successful execution of partnership projects
  • Monitor budgets and timelines related to ongoing projects
  • Support the Vice President of Business Development in developing integration concepts and activation strategies for corporate partners
  • Participate in partnership sales efforts, including identifying opportunities, creating proposals, and supporting prospecting and business development initiatives
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Sales, or another field relevant to the position
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role (sponsorship, business development, or partnerships)
  • Experience in customer service and business relationship management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong organizational skills, autonomy, leadership, and initiative
  • Creativity, an entrepreneurial mindset, and excellent relationship-building abilities
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and perform well under pressure
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams)
