Defenceman Vincent Sévigny – a Quebec City native – has joined the Lions de Trois-Rivières after having been with the American Hockey League's Laval Rocket.
Prior to joining the Canadiens organization, he played two seasons with the (New York Islanders affiliate) Bridgeport Islanders of the AHL.
Prior to that, Sévigny played four seasons in the QMJHL: He captained the 2022 Saint John Sea Dogs, and was instrumental in leading the team to a Memorial Cup (Canadian junior hockey’s most coveted prize).
This marks a return to Trois-Rivières for Sévigny: He played for two years with the M18AAA’s Estacades, where he was named team captain in his second season.
